What is a manipulator Magician?

A manipulator magician has the incredible ability to use sleight of hand to vanish, re-appear and sometimes float (coins, mobile phones, thimbles, billiard balls etc). The magic can be performed to music, with comedy dialogue or serious script, very much beautiful and amazing and magical watch.

This type of magician has the extraordinary ability to use sleight of hand making objects like, coins, cards, mobile phones and more appear and reappear. Many manipulator magicians add music to their act taking their stage show to another level. This type of magic takes hours and sometimes years to master.

Norm neilson:
He was the owner of nielsen magic, founded in 1956. In the early years, he learned how to make magic props from theo bamberg, also known as okito. He was given permission by okito to manufacture all items of his line, including the okito checker cabinet. He was the manufacturer of the nielsen line of products, which include among others, vanishing bottles, rubber doves and manipulation cards.

Nielsen has worked in london, helsinki, istanbul, tokyo, caracas, santiago, las vegas, sydney, and monte carlo. He had a regular engagement at the crazy horse saloon in paris, where he performed on and off for six years.

Cardini (Richard valentine pitchford):
Richard valentine pitchford was a master magician under the name cardini, whose career spanned almost half a century. Born in britain, he worked chiefly in the united states of america.

After an unsuccessful attempt to establish himself as a stage magician in british variety, he travelled to australia, where he performed initially as val raymond before adopting the name cardini. His new name advertised his mastery of card manipulation and paid homage to the most famous magician of the era, houdini. Cardini subsequently performed in canada and then entered the united states from british columbia. While working his way across the united states, he met swan walker in chicago, who became his wife in 1927 and lifelong assistant. In new york city, cardini became an almost immediate success, as audiences (And magicians) Had never seen such an act. Cardini enhanced his performance by incorporating his magic tricks into a skit. Sleight of hand, gestures, and the appearance and disappearance of objects were all precisely timed to music.

Jeff McBride:
Jeff McBride, also known as “magnus“, is an american magician and magic instructor. He is known for his sleight of hand skills and specializes in the manipulation of playing cards, coins, and other small objects. His stage performances blend elements of kabuki, a japanese theater form, with traditional conjuring. He has been recognized by the academy of magical arts, the society of american magicians, and the international federation of magic societies. He has also has set several guinness world records.

In 1991, he established the McBride magic & mystery school to teach the art of manilpulation magic. McBride’s magic & mystery school is world-renowned and is recognized as the foremost magical teaching institution available today.

Shin lim:
Liang-shun lim, known professionally as shin lim, is a canadian-american magician, recognized for his use of card manipulation and sleight of hand. He is known for elaborate close-up card magic routines, during which he remains silent with the tricks set to music. He is self-taught, having learned most of his skills from watching YouTube, on which he has since shared some of his techniques.

Originally educated to be a pianist, lim took up magic as his career after being diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Lim was discovered around 2012, began to tour internationally, and subsequently won the 2015 féDération internationale des sociétés magiques in close-up card magic. His appearances on penn & teller: Fool us and his wins on america’s got talent during its 13th season in 2018 and on america’s got talent: The champions led to more international fame.

Cyril takayama:

Cyril takayama was born and raised in hollywood, california. His father is a japanese from okinawa prefecture in japan, while his mother is french of moroccan descent, both of whom were beauticians. Cyril takayama had a troubled upbringing, and a profile in magic (“the magazine for magicians”) Published in the mid 2000s describes him being expelled from school at 15 and then dropping out of school at the age of 16. Cyril’s father was upset at his behavioral problems and sent him to japan, where he left the plane during a stopover in tokyo, and ended up busking on the streets of shinjuku. At times he had so little money that he could afford just one meal a day.
