And one of today’s talented comedy magicians lending to that style comes from The Magic Comic – Jamahl Keyes For over 20 years, Jamahl has been presenting Family, Friendly Fun stage productions, drawing diverse audiences into a world of “face hurting”laughter and amazement with his quick wit and fast-paced fast-paced magic tricks.

Originally from the midwest town of South Bend, IN, Jamahl is the son of Willie and Jackie Keyes who were both school teachers for 40 + years. His mother Jackie was well aware that her son Jamahl didn’t like to read, so she came up with a clever idea of performing a magic trick overnight at the dinner table. When Jamahl would ask, “How did you do that.” She would reply by saying, “You can find out by reading this book.” It was later playing in Orchestra, singing in the glee club and performing in musicals and plays. That Jamahl found away to hone his magic, music and comedy skills.

Jamahl has appeared on NBC’s World Greatest Magic, The Family Channel, The Kid’s Adventure Zone and TNN, toured and performed with The Statler Brothers and has performed at countless Theaters, Casinos and Colleges in 7 countries on 4 continents. He has opened for Poison, Reba McEntire and Ben Vereen to just name a few. In addition to performing he also produced two successful stage show productions Magic Music & Laughs and Inside The Mind Of A Little Wizard. His work ethic is unmatched and he continues to grow as a performer. He mentors young and inspiring performers, with his “The Magic In You” Arts are Theater Appreciation program.
